We have some answers…

What is the easiest way to get to Providence, RI?

From Long Island - Take either the Port Jefferson ferry to Bridgeport, CT, or the Orient Point ferry to New London, CT. Both of these ferries allow you to drive your car on! From Bridgeport, CT it will be about another two-hour drive to Providence, and from New London, CT about a one-hour drive. The ferry ride itself is about 75 minutes. You can also always easily drive around! Depending on where you are departing from, it should take about 3.5 to 4.5 hours to drive to Providence.

From Boston - Providence is about an hour drive from Boston and the greater Boston area. It is also easily accessible by Amtrak or the MTBA Commuter Rail. Both of our hotels are easily walkable from the train station.

Do I have to stay at one of the host hotels?

You definitely do not, but it will making attending some of our other events easier! We will be hosting the afterparty at the Aloft hotel, and our farewell brunch at The Graduate hotel. The hotels are about a seven minute walk from each other. Transportation will be provided, departing from one of the hotels (TBA), and returning to both hotels at the end of the evening.

Will transportation be provided?

Transportation will be provided from Providence, RI to the ceremony and reception venue in Bristol, RI. Buses will depart from each Aloft and The Graduate at 3:00 p.m. ET and will return to that same locations around 10:00 p.m. ET. After party to follow - see "Other Events" tab!

Do I have to take the transportation provided or can I drive myself? Is there parking?

You are more than welcome to drive yourself and parking will be available at the venue. There will be a parking attendant stationed outside of The Inn when you first arrive who will be able to provide additional details. If you do not plan to take the bus, we'd appreciate it if you let us know so we can plan accordingly.

How far is the venue from Providence, RI?

The Barn at Mount Hope Farm is about 30 minutes from Providence, RI, but please allow for a bit more time to travel as there will likely be traffic!

What details should I know when planning what to wear?!

Cocktail attire is perfectly suitable! Please note that the ceremony and cocktail reception will be hosted outside, in a garden area. We'd suggest bringing a light jacket, and keeping in mind that you'll be walking on grass as you select your footwear! The reception and dancing will be indoors, but we may keep the barn doors open so prepare for a brisk evening breeze.

What is the schedule for the weekend?
